A kinetic, intimate look inside the subculture of heroin abuse, this acclaimed adaptation of Irvine Welsh's novel follows the misadventures of Renton, a brash, twenty-something Edinburgh junkie, and his nihilistic chums Tommy, Spud, Sick Boy and Begbie. Alternately comic and off-putting, the film ultimately comes down to Renton's choice between self-destruction or life. The stellar soundtrack should not be missed.

Once again, they will be joined by DJs who bring their own blend of Afrosoul, African Dancehall and Reggae to the party.
It's Two Floors of Conscious Dancehall, Deep, Cultured Roots, and heavy, heavy dub. Plus, we'll be feeding the hungry youth with free BBQ at 8PM on the 2nd floor!

2 Brand New Happy Hours at Obiwan!
Obiwan is happy to announce 2 new happy hours starting in December.
 The first one is Coffee and Tea Time. Every day, from 2-5 PM, any purchase of coffee or tea will also include some free snacks. So if you're looking for a new place to study, or just hang out during the afternoon, drop by and see us.
 Our second happy hour is Monday through Saturday. From 6-8PM, all drinks are buy one, get one free. Start off the evening a little early, and save some money while you're at it!
