We can now all finally get back to normal life in Beijing (whatever that is)! Bring your tired (but not too tired to party) self down to Club Obiwan! The whole place will be moving and shaking with the dancingest music in post-Olympics Beijing. We'll be running free beer from 10 to 11, and then drink specials all night. This is a hospitality industry night - If you bring something that shows you work in a restaurant, bar, hotel, etc, we'll really hook you up!

This is an Open Air event, in case of bad weather the movie is presented on the 1st floor.
A dying Marcus Aurelius (Richard Harris) plans to name his loyal and brave General Maximus (Russell Crowe), as his successor in order to restore the power of the Roman Senate. However, his power-hungry, jealous son Commodus (Joaqin Phoenix) learns of the plan. After putting his own plan into play, he has Maximus arrested in order to secure his claim to the throne. Maximus escapes execution, but is sold into slavery and is forced to become a gladiator. Maximus and his fellow gladiators are eventually sent to Rome to perform for Commodus.
Winner of 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
